MOS Amsterdam
Fine dining on Amsterdam's IJ waterfront. Groove's first client, and its longest relationship.

About this project

Rens used to work as a waiter at MOS before he founded Groove. He knew what the room felt like on a good night, and knew the website didn't match it. That mismatch became Groove's first project, nine years ago. Three rebuilds later, MOS is still a client.

MOS had outgrown its WordPress site. The branding still worked and the restaurant's reputation still opened doors, but the site felt like a placeholder next to the real thing: a room where people save all year for one dinner.
Groove ran the full sprint stack. Kick-off to map the guest journey end to end, from first click to reservation. Design Sprint in Figma for a mobile-first, image-led site built around the room itself. Build Sprint in Webflow, with a CMS structure MOS's own team can update, menus, wine list, events, without touching code. Launch Sprint for the technical layer: SEO redirects, tracking, cross-device QA, and CMS training so the handover actually sticks.
The new site shipped in six weeks, alongside a full photoshoot of the restaurant and dishes. MOS runs its own menu and wine list updates now. Third rebuild, same client, nine years running.

Client Testimonial

"Groove designed a website that fits the atmosphere and ambiance we want to project as a restaurant. In this way, they proved to be involved with the customer."
